A. Resources4Adoption.com is recognized as the industry leader for adoption financing education, information and resources. Resources4adoption is a Kansas based not-for-profit organization which based near Kansas City. Our Kansas state EIN 6758320. Cherri Walrod is the founder, president and CEO of Resources4adoption, Inc. We are currently working toward obtaining 501(c)(3), tax exempt status from the IRS as an educational and resourced based not-for-profit organization.
Q. Is Resources4adoption, Inc. a business or a ministry?
A. Resources4adoption is a ministry. Our primary focus is placed on genuinely helping adoptive families with the best adoption financing education, information and resources. Therefore, we strive to operate with a strategic planning model while serving others and helping to meet their needs.
Q. What does Resources4adoption.com do with its income?
A. One of our top priorities is fiscal responsibility and frugality. We operate with very low overhead out of a small home office space. We have a very small staff of three employees consisting of Cherri, her oldest daughter and her son-in-law. Other members of our team and/or other professionals are brought in to help and paid on an as needed basis. There are no ‘fat cat’ salaries paid here! We do the majority of our work from our ‘hand-me-down’ desks and our $25 office chairs from Walmart. We are just like most other American families trying to make a living. We have modest incomes and we live within our budgets. We also work to follow the principles found in Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. In fact, we highly recommend taking this course if you have not already done so.
